- Cabinet Marx II was confirmed by Reichspräsident Ebert in office after initial coalition negotiations failed, but had no majority support in the Reichstag. Coalition negotiations with SPD and DNVP continued, but were not successful. Cabinet resigned on 15 December 1924 and stayed in office until 15 January 1925.
