- PM Gross and the cabinet were appointed on 4 August. The cabinet won an investiture vote on 24 August (yes: 101; no: 99). Christian Democrats left cabinet on 30 March 2005. Two days later, Gross survived a confidence vote (yes: 76 , no: 78, abstain: 44) with tactic support from the Communists in form of abstaining to vote (KSCM) but resigned on 25 April.
