- Cabinet continued on 5 April when PM Schuessel announced to continue the previous coalition with Freedom Party (FPO) ministers who joined the newly formed Alliance for the Future of Austria (BZO). Minority cabinet was supported by most remaining FPO MPs. Cabinet ended with election on 1 October 2006 and resigned two days later.
